Pigment Dyeing

Unlike dyeing, which penetrates the material with colorants, pigment dyeing applies color to the surface of the material. This method offers vibrant coloration and strong resistance to humidity, scratches, and dirt. Because it undergoes less aging than traditional dyeing, it requires less maintenance and is highly suitable for everyday use—making it an excellent choice for notebook covers.

Embossing

Embossing is a processing method where a metal mold is pressed onto the surface of the leather to create a textured pattern. It also helps to conceal natural imperfections in the raw material, such as veins, scratches, or unevenness, while adding resistance to scuffs and stains during use.

Machined and anodized

The aluminum disc is a custom-designed Dress up Notebook component, created with precision and care. This small part—just a few centimeters in size—embodies our dedication to usability, versatility, and long-term durability.

Each disc is carefully carved over 60 seconds using five different cutting tools, resulting in a refined, high-quality finish. To enhance both feel and appearance, it is then sandblasted for a soft, matte texture and anodized for rich color and improved resistance to scratches and wear.

Paired with our genuine leather covers, these discs elevate Dress up Notebook beyond a typical notebook. It’s a blend of function and style—a reflection of your taste and individuality.

DISC BIND SYSTEM

Disc Bind System

Flexnote is a notebook that uses the disc-binding system to hold its pages together. Developed in Europe about 75 years ago, this notebook features a smart design and flexible functionality, and has been widely used especially in Europe and the United States. The disc-binding system, which is the notebook’s greatest feature, works on a very simple principle: the T-shaped holes in the pages hook onto the grooves of the discs. This smart and intuitive mechanism allows anyone to quickly and easily replace covers or rearrange pages. Because it can be freely customized to suit the user’s purpose, it greatly enhances convenience in a variety of situations.
